Now that Kensington Square is sold out, what else can investors look forward to? Especially if you are looking for a condominium with a commercial component to it? Well, why not consider the Midtown Bay condo.

Like Kensington Square, this is a mixed development, with both residential units and retail / commercial shops. The difference is in the scale. Midtown Bay, and its precinct called Guoco Midtown, operates on a much larger scale than the Kensington Square site. Something like almost ten times larger.

In addition, we are talking of completely different classes of location. Midtown Bay is located at Beach Road, which is within the core central region, and now fast becoming one of the most upmarket parts of the CBD. Prices here, as evidenced by those at South Beach Residences, are now in the $3,000 PSF range. This would have been almost unheard of just 5 years ago at the time that Kensington Square was launching. But it is almost the standard nowadays, along not just Beach Road, but also even in the Tanjong Pagar area, where the other signature Guocoland development is to be found.
